Of all the Escape from Tarkov maps, The Factory is the small and most complex. It has many uncovered and semi-opened regions with many raised spots (you have to have your eyes not only behind your heads and on top of it within Tarkov’s Factory) that encourage fast-paced, close-quarter collaborations. Lore like, the Factory was a chemical factory that the Terra Party leased out unlawfully.
It was then a stage of numerous BEAR vs USEC commitments when the Tarkov fighting broke out (as a part of the industrial district, the Factory was of high strategic importance). The Factory’s facilities were turned into civilian shelters because after UN interfered. These structures are mostly used by operators of Scavs and PMC who still live in the area.

There are not many things to anticipate from a factory raid:
There is a risk that you will be single against a team of 5 people due to the low player cap (maximum of 6 PMCs); players queue in 5-man groups if they want to quickly farm Scavs (all they have to do is eliminate a single PMC and cover known Scav spawns).
That indicates you are alone on the map and can loot quickly if you count 5 PMC bodies. You do have to be aware of Scavs and player Scavs that can spawn later in the attack.
Spawns are placed next to each other on a map as small as the Factory. This means that after you spawn, you can be hurried almost instantly; be on your toes right from the very beginning and do not loot anything at the early part, migrate rapidly instead of (yes, there are more than six spawns currently which makes spawning safer, but many players know all of them and they will go for you right from the get-go).
Enclosed spaces facilitate camping. After entering a building or moving through a fence, don’t be shocked if you get fired.
Fortunately, popular camping sites are quick to understand and can be prevented/cleared (if you are paranoid, you can take a few flashbangs to a Raid with you, Factory is one of the best places for them).

Levels of Concerns:
Within Tarkov’s Factory compound, there are amazingly many fascinating points of interest, mainly if you like to be shot in hardly every corner of the map; here are among the most popular attractions (possible loot included).
1. PvE Room / Room for Containers
This region owes its existence to the assumption that if you queue for a Single-Player Raid, you should always spawn here (this feature makes it extremely difficult to learn the spawns because you can not just enter and leave a PvE Raid several times to decide spawning locations). It is among the places in the Factory that is more accessible. Some blue barrels on the bottom floor provide some protection (but have some loot inside them) and some small barriers that you can escape behind. You can enter the second floor or even start climbing to the ceiling if you go up some stairs. The rafters provide incredible viewpoints that ignore the whole city, but when you balance on them, you are very transparent. There are security gates (Factory Key required) with an extraction point beside them in the city’s southern portion.
Place:
Situated below the shower and the office room, one of the production area hangars. The PvE Room / Container Room on our Map is labeled with the number “1.”
Possible Loot:
Some loose loot, gun crates at floor level (it is risky to loot in exposed places), armor spawning inside the northern-most Blue Box. Arms Boxes up the steps to the office area (and on the “stage”). Some loose loot on the shelf in the second story office corridor (including rare object spawns) (one of the frames also has a chance to spawn a Weapon).

2. Main Factory Hall
Main Hall Factory, clearly identifiable by three large silos at ground level. There are several elevated locations in this area, including silo tops, catwalks, and the Overpass, which renders it very risky (you can’t just watch all perspectives at once and the risk of being targeted here is exceptionally high), but also provides many possibilities for the attack. The “stripper” is also called the metal stairs that drop directly from the Highway bridge.
Place:
On the Plant’s ground floor, between the PvE/Containers and the Generators regions. The main room is labeled on our map with the number “2.”
Possible Loot:
Armor spawning behind the exit of the Overpass (on the left) and second in the blue containers above the “stripper” staircase, backpack spawning on the rafters (above the southern-most silo), jackets in the “stripper” area; two Arms Crates in the “stripper” location under the staircase.
3. Bureau:
This was where the leading workers of the Plant lived. As it is widespread in office areas spread around Tarkov, anything of importance may be buried here. Unfortunately, this office’s door has now been violated, which most definitely means that any confidential Terra Party papers that were here are already gone. Scavs are also known to use the workplace window as an escape route from the warehouse (Office Window is a Scav-only extraction point). In this place, because of its central position, you will always run into other players.
Place:
The third floor of the Factory (up the stairs in the northern region of the Pve / Container Room). On the left is the first entrance. “3”3.
Possible Loot:
A secure under the table at the office entrance, two lootable jackets on the left side of the door, and two storage boxes in the far-left corner of the room. On top of the Book Shelves, there is also an Armor Spawn.
